Pieter Sahanaya, SH., graduated from the Law Faculty of Universitas Pattimura, Ambon, Maluku in 1992. He served as the State Attorney in 1996. By the time serving as State Attorney, he was assigned as the Section Head of Criminal Division at The District Attorney of Ambon (from 2000 to 2003), as the Section Head of Economic and Monetary Division at the Intelligent Division of the High Prosecutors Office of Maluku, Ambon (from 2003 to 2006), as Prosecution Section Head of the Assistant of Special Criminal Division at the High Prosecutors Ofiice of Sulawesi Utara, Manado (from 2006 to 2009), as the Special Criminal Section Head at the District Attorney Office of Sumber, Cirebon (from 2009 to 2010), and his last assignment was as the member of the Special Unit of Corruption Investigation Division at the General Solicitor of Corruption Acts of The General Attorney of RI (from 2010 to 2012). He joined Hendarman & Associates Counsellors at Law in 2012, the forerunner of HLF and currently strenghtens the litigation lawyers team of HLF, especially on handling corruption cases involving HLF’s clients.
